Gareth is a Qualified Quantity Surveyor and heads up the T&B Group of companies, after qualifying he took time to broaden his experience working in Commercial construction before joining the family business and ultimately taking over the reins in 2001. Gareth always has his ‘finger on the pulse’ in all aspects of the group, his attention to detail and comitment to expand and improve our product range and service has and is still taking the Group to new levels.
Dave is a qualified Quantity surveyor and Project manager and spent 10 years in conventional Industrial and commercial construction before joining T&B in 2001. Dave heads up the group with Gareth, specializing on the design, estimating, Product development and Contracting aspects of the business. He has a broad ‘skill set’ and extensive experience in remote site logistics which enables the company to offer potential Clients comprehensive project proposals with solutions to challenging aspects along with detailed and accurate cost analysis.
Adrian is a qualified accountant and a Senior member of our staff. He is young and energetic and plays an active role in all aspects of the T&B group operations with his contributions going well beyond pure accounting into the development of the day to day management systems of the company.
Pieter is a qualified Quantity surveyor and Project manager and heads up our Projects team. His attention to detail is derived from his extensive experience as a QS and he has an accute awareness of the benefits of forward planning and identifying potential challenges in advance and with his pro active approach to these critical aspects our projects and Clients have the benefit, under Pieter`s guidence, of meeting budgets and completion dates timeously.
Ben a, South African by birth spent more than 20 years living and working in the Indian ocean Islands in Construction & Sales and then joined the T&B sales team in 1993 so offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the T&B product. From his experience abroad he is also fluent in both French & Italian.
Angus comes from a family of builders and also studied Construction management and Quantity surveying both of which have provided him with a solid practical and techinical knowledge of construction, along with his festidious and systematic nature it makes him an accurate and concientious etsimator thus providing our Clients with realistic and clear indications of project costs.
Mari started her construction carreer in procurement and sales of construction tools and equipment and has been with the company for 5 years in which time she has revolutionized our accuracy and efficiency in the procurement of quality and cost effective materials and along with clinical logistics management our Clients gain immense financial benefit accross the board with Mari at the helm of this critical department.
AB is a young designer, qualified at UOF, with energy, drive and a keen ambition to absorb and learn his trade and associated products. He has a well developed aptitude to interpret and apply the Clients needs and requirements to his designs.
Martyn is a Qualified draughtsman and spent the earlier part of his carreer designing pre fabricated steel structures, this experience is invaluable to the group and it`s pre manufactured product range with his acute attention and understanding to practical detailing of all components. Martyn also has an affinity for developing 3D perspectives of our projects and although not usually a requirement, definitely an added bonus for our Clients to get a real feel of their projects.
The ultimate ‘Jack of all trades’, Ellen has been with the company for 18 years and is the ‘glue’ that holds everything together, the epitomy of efficiency with no task being to tough or unpleasant and also always happy to step in when help is needed in other departments or to keep the youngsters in line.
Lettie has been with the group for 10 years and heads up the Creditors and stock control department with quite efficiency which suppliers should underestimate at their own peril. Lettie has a 100% track record of closing out the books and stock timeously month in and month out and is thus an invaluable part of the T&B team and it’s success.
Johan has extensive experience in all forms of construction and has an unmatched ability to manage remote and complicated sites relatively hasle free. His quite demeanor and attention to quality and detail make it a pleasure for Clients to work with him and ensuring that projects are completed on time to the highest quality standard. Johan recently had a very succesful four year stint constructing various resort and hotel projects, for the group, in Angola which is a notoriously tough environment in which to work.
Eric is an experienced construction site manager and an expert in planning his projects with an astute attention to achieving a quality finished product delivered on time. Eric is the ultimate team player and commands great respect from his workforce which ensures he has thier complete support from start to finish on each project.
Ryno is a young, no nonsense, site manager who manages and operates well above his age, he is extremely hardworking and target driven thus ensuring projects are finished on time and with a background in timber joinery he sets a very high personal standard on the finished product that he hands over to the Client.
